anthropologie : household ware - clothes - objects - I love this shop

I love the shop Anthropologie, even more so because I only get to go once year. An annual treat. There is no shop in France yet but they openned one in London. I still have to see it. However with the exchange rate I'm better off buying in the US in January, plus everything is on sale then. Still, my visa melts on the machine as I sign the bill! They do have an online shop but ship only to the US, same for the catalogue :-(

The quality is good, I have a pair of boots that I wear alot and they still look like a pair of boots. I will take a picture.

I also bought glass door knobs for our country house. I was optimistic because we don't have the cupboards or doors yet! But as I said, once a year on sale @ 2 to 3 $ a piece definitely worth having them sit in a box a couindustrial-lamp-anthropologie.jpgple of years.

Clothes; some stuff I just adore, might even kill for...other stuff is just a bit wierd or you have to weigh about 50 kilos to look good. The dresses tend to be knee length, well I have long legs so may be a problem for others. I have 2 dresses that I enjoy wearing over and over.

Looking at the new collection, here is some things I picked out. Industrial lamp directly out of the 70s'the-lady-s-apron-anthropologie.jpg

This apron would match the tiles we bought for the country house (along with the door knobs there are waiting to installed!)

Little robot. Amy Flynn makes these with bits and pieces so of course each one is unique.

These spoons are forks are intended as plant markers. I bought these in January but hadn't realised this. I wanted to use them as handles as soon as we have cupboards.
